Your belief in it from the beginning still humbles me. Your encouragement turned a moment into a calling, and I’m forever grateful. I first discovered biblical fiction through Tessa's Pearl in the Sand, which led me to start a non-profit called Seeds of Faith for Women. At my first SOFW retreat, Tessa was the keynote speaker. In between her incredible talks, I told the story of the daughters of Zelophehad and how it inspired me throughout my 35 years in Corporate America. She approached me afterward and said, "You must write this story." I laughed and replied, “No, you’re the writer.” She encouraged me. And so, my writer’s journey began, and seven years later, it’s ready. So thankful for this seed that took root. Words cannot fully express my gratitude for her belief in this story from its inception to the final pages.

In Daughters of the Wilderness, five women risk everything, their reputation, security, and future, to ask for what no woman had been granted before: the right to preserve their father’s name and claim their inheritance, trusting God with the outcome.
    Living in the Wilderness. What would it look like Living in the Wilderness. What would it look like to trust God completely? Each morning, the Israelites gathered only what they needed for the day. No more than needed, they learned. It became a daily lesson in trust. In my story, I imagine how they prepared the manna, gathering wild herbs from their surroundings and making various preparations. But this detail about manna speaks to us today. God provides.
