  • There's something special about worship beside the There's something special about worship beside the water. Roger and I will be leading worship at Bayville Methodist Church on August 9—beginning with the beach service at 8:00 a.m. and continuing at the church at 10:00. This month has been filled with opportunities to learn, share, reconnect with friends, and witness so many God-incidences. As I head into a new month, my prayer is simple:

Lord, help me to be faithful with whatever You place before me. Give me eyes to see where You are already at work and the courage to take the next step.

Thank you for being part of this journey with me. I look forward to seeing what God has in store next.

    There is something magical about experiencing the There is something magical about experiencing the world through the eyes of a grandchild. A recent safari adventure in California gave us the chance to see amazing animals up close, but my favorite part wasn't the wildlife—it was watching my granddaughter's face light up with every new discovery.

Children have a wonderful way of reminding us to slow down, be curious, and find joy in the moment.

Those may be some of God's greatest gifts.
