I'm excited about going to The Network of Biblical

I'm excited about going to The Network of Biblical Storytellers Festival Gathering in July as president of this organization.

Our festival offers a unique blend of captivating keynote speakers, carefully curated workshops, and creative and innovative ways for worship services. We even have a discount bookstore, where you can find a wide range of biblical literature at affordable prices. In a community with fellow storytellers, we bring vitality to our ancient stories.

Long before the Bible was transcribed onto parchment, it thrived as oral traditions passed down through generations. At NBSI, we pay homage to this ancient custom by studying and embodying these narratives. Our workshops are engaging and cover a range of teachings. Our keynote speaker is the renowned author, professor, and preacher Anna Carter Florence, a highly esteemed figure in the conference circuit today, Our early bird pricing ends May 15th. The narrator's voice is music, which takes us on an extraordinary journey around the world. Albom has a way of enticing you to read just one more chapter. The book revolves around the magic of six strings of his guitar, but it is about how each of us has the power to effect people's lives. A great read and full of fun meetings with musicians from the past. Enjoy!

Don’t turn your back on wisdom, for she will protect you.Love her, and she will guard you. The beginning of wisdom is the wisest thing you can do! And whatever else you do, develop good judgment. Proverbs 4:6-7

It is believed that Solomon wrote the Proverbs. This verse is from a father telling his son the most important things in life, and one of them is wisdom. Does Solomon remember what David, his father, told him? The Greek word re"sit means what comes first and is used in Genesis 1:1( 'In the beginning...") which implies something of great importance. 'In the beginning..." As we age, wisdom is a gift from all our experiences, the good, the bad, and the painful ones, leading to good judgment. And isn't it beautiful that wisdom is denoted as she?
