The month of May is one of my favorites. The trees

The month of May is one of my favorites. The trees and flowers show a myriad of beautiful greens and a rainbow of colors. It's a month that is not too hot or too cold. We celebrate our mothers or those who've been a mother to us, and we commemorate those who've given their lives for us. May we embrace every day, renewing our minds and spirits with love.

Attending the reNEW Christian Writer's Retreat, my mind was renewed. Kia Stevens founded Entrusted Women, which she created to equip Christian women communicators of color. Her dynamic, inspirational keynote centered on: Trust God's timing by Surrendering.
Trust God with His instruction by being obedient. Trust God with the outcome by being humble.
In doing so, you will be amazed at what He plans for us.

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. James 1:5

What a wonderful verse James gives us. We need not to doubt that God will answer us. Perhaps it is not on our timeline, but He does. I was divorced for nine lonely years, going on forty years of age, praying the Lord would send me a husband who would be good for me. The Lord granted me a true soulmate who together we honor God in our lives. Be patient in prayer and believe. Amen!
