    As a certified lay speaker for over 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of preaching in various church denominations. I can design the sermon around the current lectionary, current events, or commemorating a special occasion/holiday. Enhancing the service, I can offer the scripture in the Biblical storytelling format.

  • Biblical Storytelling Workshop: Bringing the Word to Life.

    The practice of telling Bible stories in place of reading them makes the words literally jump off the page. You will learn an effective way to bring understanding by exploring the culture, history, mores, and setting with helpful techniques for memorization. Placing you in the story helps to convey its potent meaning, a powerful tool to offer your congregation, youth or women’s group.

  • Seeds of Faith Women’s Retreats and Seminars

    Agenda’s will be created just for you and your group for a morning, a day, or a weekend. From inspirational interactive sessions to time for prayer and meditation. I also host and team with award-winning authors such as Tessa Afshar and Lucinda Seacrest McDowell for the Seeds of Faith Annual Spring Retreat. The 2022 topic included Lucinda’s “Live Authentically” and “Love Extravagantly,” and my contribution covered, “Martha or Mary, which one are you?”

  • Seeds of Faith Book Groups

    In 2017, I started a book group and now have four. It is much more than discussing a book. It brings women together to share and encourage our faith journeys. Curating terrific books with award-winning authors, we focus on stories of women in the Bible and/or living by the precepts that affect and inspire us today. By creating a safe and caring atmosphere, women can discuss their thoughts and questions, building trust to share their own personal stories. I would be happy to help you create a group and strategies for keeping it going.
